before the season ends. We will stop at Papa Gino’s for lunch and then to
Paradise Golf! If there’s time we’ll head to
Lunch can run $4-7. Golf and
Ice Cream $10.
You don't want to miss this one! We’ll pick apples, hop on a hayride, check out the talented local crafters and take in the musical entertainment. Bring a picnic lunch or we’ll stop by a local sub shop on our way to pick up a sandwich.
Apple picking $5-$12 depending on the size of the bag. If you have a sweet tooth there will be apple crisp and the like for sale so you may want to bring a few extra dollars.
Its off to the Ipswich River Reservation, Mass Audubon’s
largest sanctuary. We’ll check out the Education Center (there’s always
something to learn), explore the forests while watch for river otters, painted
turtles, and great blue herons.
Admission $4, Lunch: Bring a picnic lunch or, if you need
to, well stop by a local sub shop on our way to pick up a sandwich.
Its America’s oldest agricultural fair, need I say more! This will be an extended outing to give folks time to explore and have fun so we’ll return around 5:30. As this will be a longer outing the registration fee for this event will be $20, instead of the regular $15. Space is limited so signup early as it will be first come first served.
Fair admission is normally $12 but we’ll be working on discounted tickets. If you think you might like rides, ride tickets are 11 tickets for $15. Food at the fair is anyone’s guess but $5-$10 should do the trick.
October 11:
Bostonville Grille Arcade
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Bring on your game. During the
summer we hit Salem Willows. Let’s see how Bostonville
measures up! Join us on our arcade/fun spot
exploration and critique. Vote for your favorite!
$5 Pizza & Drink $10(Suggested) Spending Cash (Arcades)
One of Green
Meadow's most popular events. There’ll be great music from Back Eddy
Bluegrass plus Hayrides and the Farm's animals will certainly provide
entertainment as well!
Lunch: The safe
bet is to bring your own, though there is food for sale. If you plan on picking
pumpkins or the like I would bring an extra 10 spot to be safe.
